Well-designed watch with clear digits and a range of solid basic features. This will be my work-and-play watch because it’s so easy to wear, with a sturdy band and hardware. It’s light enough to forget it’s on my wrist, and it’s super easy to fasten. (Be aware that the band is in the small/medium range.) The aesthetics are clean and minimalist, with the two-color design giving it a fashion flair. So far, it’s keeping time perfectly. At this price, I’m not expecting this to last forever or become my watch of choice for a night on the town, but it is perfect for the hectic pace of my daily life.

The watch itself has been super. It has kept accurate time since I first got it several months ago. It has handled showers and baths, as it’s supposed to since it’s water resistant. It lights up nicely in the dark. It has been durable to handle my active lifestyle and performs as it should. It looks sporty. It’s as comfortable as can be expected of a watch. Also, the date, day, and time are all big enough to be easily read.
The issue is the weird discoloration. I got a green watch but it’s been turning pink! I have not been using chlorine or chemicals. I’m not sure what is causing this but I didn’t have this problem with my other watches of a different brand. It’s like the green coating is fading into pink. Very strange!!

Update: I did end up ordering another copy of this, and expected to get another color, but it’s hard to beat this light pink shade for versatility. Without being too peachy like many supposedly pink items are, it isn’t actually that obviously pink looking either – it’s a good neutral that goes with anything. I like that it’s subtle enough that you can wear it to work without it looking like you just came from the gym (even if you did).
Original: I haven’t worn a watch in years, but decided to get one to stay on track with schedule and reduce dependency on my phone. Number size was my top priority (can’t see small things very well), but I also didn’t want a huge face that would feel hot on my wrist.
This watch has the ideal combination of readability and convenient sizing. It isn’t super bulky or too small and delicate, as women’s watches tend to be. It has useful features, including a stopwatch, alarm and the option to set up an alternative time display for another location. I’ve never owned a watch that did that, but it is super convenient for travel or if you have family in another part of the world.
It’s very comfortable to wear and the quality is amazing, particularly considering the low price. It would also make a nice gift, and comes in several colors. I will probably buy at least one more.

The lovely and beautiful Mrs. C. is a yoga instructor and wanted an inexpensive, durable digital watch to wear during her classes. The requirements were that it was dainty, easy to read and had a timer function. Naturally, I suggested an Armitron because I have worn them daily for over twenty years and love that their watches are functional, cool-looking and durable for a very reasonable price. They have water resistance and the night glow function as well (see photo). After several months of use, wifey loves it and feels it was worth the money and it fit the bill for her specific needs. The purple color we purchased has kind of a pinkish hue as you can see in the photo but it’s not quite as pink as the pink model.
No knock on the iWatch or modern smart watches, they are cool and have their place, but carrying a computer on your wrist is not always necessary. If the watch happens to get banged around during yoga (or during my sometimes physical job), it is not the end of the world. Good luck.

The Armitron Sport Women’s 45/7086 Digital Chronograph watch is perfect for anyone living an active, outdoor lifestyle. If you are looking for something durable, waterproof, easy to set up, an excellent fit, and affordable, look no further. I originally bought this watch for when I was working in the Colorado Mountains guiding horseback tours.
Durability
When shopping for a watch, my top priority was something which would withstand a variety of situations, such as rain, dust, working around horses, and wilderness trekking. This watch met the durability criteria in every way. I wore this watch all day, every day for the entire summer. I worked outside twelve to fourteen hours a day around livestock. Even after an entire summer of use, the watch shows very little wear.
Water Resistance
As for the waterproof feature, you will find it to be very resilient. My watch went through many rain and hail storms, as well as being submerged in water tanks and rivers. The water did not seem to affect the watch at all.
Ease of Use
You may also may be interested a watch that is easy to change settings and the time. The watch comes with a sheet of instructions which were simple to read and follow directions. I would recommend keeping the directions, because I had trouble remembering how to change the time after a few months. The watch also features a screen that lights up. This was extremely useful when working at night. I mainly used the time and date options on the watch, but there are many other features you may be interested in using such as alarms and military time
Size and Fit
This watch would be excellent for a person looking for a medium sized watch. The numbers large enough and easily visible, but without adding bulkiness. The wrist band is great fit for a person with a smaller wrist. I have relatively small wrists and I had several notches to spare.
Affordability
Another plus, Armitron watches are extremely affordable. For a watch under twenty dollars, you can get a quality, functional product at a reasonable rate.
