I am beyond disappointed. I first came across this wonderful perfume oil back in 2007. Since that time I have bought it several times. However I had the remainder of a bottle, but since I did not want to be without it I went ahead and ordered another bottle. Then a couple of weeks later I got the feeling I should test the new one that I had purchased and am I ever so glad that I did. It had basically NO scent whatsoever. At first I thought it might have been my sinuses acting up so I asked my husband whom has extraordinary smell receptors. I just put it right under his nose and asked him how it smelled. My husband being a man 🙂 was not paying close attention enough to see what it specifically was. But he immediately said, ” I don’t smell anything”. So it was not just me. I then put some on, and honestly in the past every time I wear it, before I make it back home someone comments on how good I smell, but not this time. I did not get one comment and I was around several different areas with a lot of people. So I started the return and instead of getting my money back I choose to have a replacement sent. It arrived promptly and it had the nice lovely smell I am use to. So all is well right, well I thought so, then today, (after having finally used up the originally bottle that I have literally had for 3-4 years or more, (yes I had it that long because I went a while without wearing any perfume). The thing is, after all that time that particular bottle still had the same amount of wonderful smell it had when I had first purchased it all those years ago. Not so with this second replacement bottle. So at this point I am really so disappointed that I am not sure what to do. Is the third time the charm or am I going to be disappointed yet again? It is even more sad because with my particular body chemistry I have a hard time finding a perfume that works well for me and I had this one but now do I have to start the search all over again? What to do, what to do? I truly hope it was just a bad batch and not that the company has started skimping on making their what at least use to be their wonderful perfume oils.

Sometimes the scent does fluctuate- I know this because I’ve used it religiously for so long. However, something has changed.

The liquid I remember was very thin and the scent wasn’t original like I had in the 90s. Scent disappeared off a throw blanket after just a day 🙁 Shame because we absolutely LOVE this essantial oil scent. Sold it at the renaissance festival for years!

First off, the packaging was elegant in a gold bubble padded envelope, the bottle of perfume was also wrapped in a foam so it would not break during shipping! The oil itself is an amazing scent! I chose this strictly by description and I am glad I did! The scent is very ritzy, lasts all day! To me it is like a rich woodsy scent & i can smell a hint of musk as well. It has a seductive & alluring scent. The oil mixes with your body chemistry. Love this company for their oils! I have also bought my 2nd bottle of Egyptian Goddess, which I LOVE as well. All I can say is you won’t be dissappointed!

I used to buy this oil when they sold it at Save on Foods and got so many compliments but this one it barely has a scent. My opinion it feels like they bought a bottle of the real stuff and dilluted it with carrier oil and refilled bottles to sell.
