I initially found the fragrance to be too floral and powdery after trying it on my wrist. However, after applying it appropriately, I found the scent to be fresh and far less powdery. It does mellow out and become more subtle after a while but it is quite lovely.

Anais Anais, the scent is wonderful. Not too strong, this is my all time favorite. It isn’t too overpowering, and last the day. It arrived ahead of time, so that was wonderful. The Price was comparible with the market, so no objections because there are somethings I will no part with. Anais Anais is the “I Can’t Live Without.”

While not exact, in a world of weak reformulations Cacharel Anais Anais Eau de Toilette L’Original is recognizable as itself.
It’s close enough. It’s still light, airy, fresh and floral. The reformulation may have something to do with IRFA changing the regulations on oak moss and Lily of the Valley. These regulations caused tragic changes to some of the mot loved classic fragrances. But Anais Anais somehow survived mostly intact.
Missing from the original (though this is marketed as L’Original): White lily, galbanum, orange blossom, lavendar, bergamot, black currant, lemon, Morrocain jasmine, carnation, tuberose, Iris, orris root, incense, cedar, patchouli, amber.
Yet somehow they kept the heart of the perfume with just hyacinth, honeysuckle, lily, Lily of the Valley (in much lower % than the original), jasmine ylang-ylang, rose musk, vetiver, sandalwood and black currant. The original oakmoss has been swapped out for moss.
Some people find it old fashioned or too powdery. It is not a modern skin scent or a heavy sticky TikTok trend. It was released in 1978 and the current formulation smells very much of that time, in a good way. If you like vintage fragrances, the current formulation should satisfy your cravings at a decent price.
The longevity is about 4-6 hours and the juice is potent. A little goes a long way. Much more bang for the buck than many modern designer scents. Try it. You might like it.

My mom wore this when I was young. I thought she was so fancy when she would spray it. I bought a bottle just to have her near me when I’m missing her. I also wear it on days like her bday or doing something I know she would have loved to do. Keeps me connected to her.

I seen this and immediately purchased this. It reminds me of when I was younger, my aunts would wear this. I purchased this and received it very quickly and this is not a four sprayer. You only have to spray this once maybe twice, it is very powerful. I do love the scent. Brings me back to when I was younger. I would definitely purchase this again. Remember every scent is different on a person’s body, on their skin. But it smells just like it did when I was a kid and my aunts wore it. So good. I definitely recommend this scent. You won’t be disappointed.
