I don’t know what this is supposed to be a dupe for (if anything) but the scent does have both an Amber and a Vanilla scent. Which is kinda weird cuz the other scents are similar to Poppy by Coach. All good smells in my opinion just… different when put together. Haha
It’s definitely a daytime/summer time scent.
It smells fresh and clean. While it smells nothing like CK One, it has that similar vibe. Which sucks because I’ll never reach for anything other than CK One when that’s the vibe.
The scent fades faster than Amberry Cherry (the only other perfume I’ve purchased from Dossier so far.) lasts maybe about 3 hours? But I bought it for $25 so I’m not too mad about it.
Shipping was fast and it was packaged professionally and securely. The bottle it comes in is stout glass, with a clean visually appealing label as well as a magnetic cap that actually stays put in my bag and is easy enough to pop off.
It doesn’t leak when you spray it, which I’ve experienced with some perfumes in the past.
This isn’t a favorite of mine but the price was right and it’s a fun scent so, I will use it until it’s gone.
It’s recommending I comment about the taste.. I haven’t tasted it as I imagine it would taste as horrible as any other not-meant-for-consumption fragrance. I did get a bit in my eye and that was unpleasant. So don’t do either of those things.
Perfumes are hard to rate because scent experiences aren’t universal. It isn’t offensive or over-powering, it’s light and airy and doesn’t linger which is perfect for this particular scent I think.
I’m giving 4 stars based on what it is and not based on how I feel about wearing the scent myself.
What it is, is a curious, clean, fresh scent that’s a little playful and definitely casual.

I almost never write reviews here unless it is a must but honestly do yourself a favor and buy this! It is 100% worth the money since it’s a long-lasting perfume, not too strong but just in the right amount, and while I was wearing it I can say I have never got that many compliments about how good I smell! It gives off a fresh, clean, and luxurious girl “vibe” without trying too hard! I instantly fell in love with this perfume and so will you!

I will say the perfume does smell incredibly similar to YSL’s Black Opium, which I was happy about. However, an Eau De Parfum is a higher concentration that should last up to 8 hours or even more which did not happen for me. I would say it had great concentration for about 2 hours then began to wear out with it being completely gone within 4 hours. While the price is amazing for being so similar to Black Opium I do question if this is a true Eau de Parfum and not an Eau de Toilette (which roughly has a lifespan of 4 hours). Overall, the fragrance and price are phenomenal, but the fragrance does not last as long as you would imagine for what it is advertised for. Maybe it is just my bottle and perhaps I got a “bad batch” but the scent overall is great and a great deal compared to what you would pay for the true YSL Black Opium.

This is my fourth bottle! It’s my fav scent to wear.. It can come off as strong at first, but I love the way it smells once it really settles in – it becomes soft and it’s sweet, but not too sweet . It’s supposed to be a Black Opium Dupe. I’ve never owned or smelled Black Opium, but someone once asked me if I was wearing it! This perfume is also long-lasting, it stays on my clothes and sweaters for so long even if i don’t spray it again. I get so many compliments when I walk by people.

I haven’t worn this fragrance out yet, but just by spraying I can tell it’s longevity is better compared to your typical body sprays. It’s floral, yet also sweet and rich like a dessert pastry. For the price, you get a very good amount of product, with a very layered and complex scent profile. The packaging came perfect and clean, the bottle was completely in tact, and it dries down and just smells absolutely beautiful on me. I tend to enjoy warmer scents, and while it is a very sweet sugary smell it has the slightest touch of floral that I really enjoy, and I typically don’t enjoy florals. It is the perfect scent for winter AND summer, a very versatile and all year scent. I will be using this fragrance year round AND will be repurchasing once I inevitably run out. It is the perfect size and weight to carry in your purse as well. My man loves it, and I love it. I cannot wait to hear the compliments i’ll receive, because I just know I will! For the price, it’s amazing!! Get it!!

I fell in love with this and immediately decided I needed to buy the “real thing” thinking it would be even better. Nope. This dupe smells EVEN BETTER and LASTS EVEN LONGER. Amazing. Such a warm, but clean, not overpowering, not overly sweet…just perfect. I’d buy this again and again!

I’m a vanilla girl through and through and I never branched out from warm vanilla sugar until recently. This is strong but has a floral scent that goes perfectly with the vanilla. I apply EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion on first and then apply this perfume to my wrists, chest, and behind my ears. It lasts all day and so far I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and questions about what I’m wearing. Definitely worth it if you love the vanilla scent.
