The inability to register the product properly is beyond frustrating. The intro “how to register” video makes it sound simple, but somehow doesn’t work. I have to write reviews before I can do anything and why would I write a review before I’ve used it. I’ll happily change this review if I can get help, but right now the push for reviews and purchasing more products and not being able to get support in using what I just bought is ludicrous. The company has never replied to any messages. So yeah

    So far so good

I love the idea of this lamp. An in home way to get the benefits if NIR light.

The trickiest part is finding a good place to clip the light. For use on my feet, it took some experimentation, but clipping it to a big book on the floor works best. Most of our furniture doesn’t work well with the light, nowhere to clip it.

We have a wooden stool that we can bring out and clip it to for use on the knees, and I have yet to find a good way to clip it for the upper back and shoulder areas.

One morning I woke up with arthritis pain in both hands. I’m relatively new to arthritis, but had spent the previous day doing hours of hard work at our farm and my hands were not happy with me. This gave me the perfect chance to try one hand at a time and compare the results. I found that after putting one hand under the light, it was significantly less stiff, and much easier to move than the other. The pain wasn’t gone, but was reduced quite a bit.

Our cat had fallen in love with this light. He is 17 and arthritic. I found him napping near the light one day and flipped it on for him. Whenever we find him curled up near (but not facing) the lamp we switch it on for him.

Assembling the light was not hard, but there was a “gritty” sound and sensation as the light bulb screwed in. The first few uses had the bulb pointed downward, and the screws loosened up, allowing the bulb to slide outward. As we broke it in, this stopped happening.

Overall, I’d love a detachable base of some sort for situations where the clip alone doesn’t work well with your environment. Sturdy construction, good cord length, good switch. Looking forward to years of benefits from this light.

EDIT- just wanted to add my comment that the customer service with this company is absolutely amazing therefore, just on that I’m going to up my rating. They addressed my issues. Wouldn’t hesitate buying from this company..

The light seems good cording to all the stats and specs, but it’s so awkward to use. I’m considering returning it just because of that there’s no base l.. it’s just a clamp but you either have to hold awkwardly or attach to some thing. I have yet to find anything, I can attach it to

    very awkward design.

The lamp arrived in good condition and is easy to use. I think my knee is too far gone and will require surgery anyway but it seems to be working on my ankle.

I found the clamp to be almost useless so I ditched it and used a different method of holding the lamp. I am using a Microphone stand with a large Mic clamp with heavy duty spring and a standard light bulb extension cable. I added rubber grips to the inside of the mic clamp and it holds the light bulb socket very firmly. Due to the mic stand being adjustable I can place the light anywhere I want on the body at an any angle. I have the cable clipped to the stand (just in case anything loosens up which it has not as yet).

As for the light itself, cannot praise that highly enough. Works great and produces very fast relief for aching muscles. It’s also great for helping heal bruises (Folks over 60 will appreciate that aspect alone).

Recommend but don’t rely on the clamp, it’s flimsy, hence why I dropped one star

I am not entirely sure if this is providing the benefits of an actual red light therapy machine however, I have used it enough to feel it’s effects. It’s warm on the skin! It is a tad awkward as mentioned in a previous review since the clip is lighter than the rest of the light and I am wondering if it is normal that only 9 have bulbs in it and the rest nothing, which is why it is making me a tad skeptical. I’ll be buying a meter to test. But, so far so good.

This product arrived on time, in its box, and in good condition. I have used it twice, and so far so good. I wish it would have been packaged properly, instead of no outer covering (mailing package/bubble wrap).

My initial intent was to use on my knees to relieve the joint pain and inflammation. It has definitely helped. As an added bonus, it is helping with the blood circulation and improving the varicose veins on the inside of my knees. I also use it on my shoulders to help reduce the tension in my muscles. Overall, this small unit has proven to be very effective.

You can really feel the warmth this thing puts out, it feels like laying in the sun on the beach. The clip is nice so it can be directed where you need it, for me that’s under my desk. Overall the construction feels quality. It comes with a nice bag for travel too.

I will report back in a few weeks as to the efficacy of the products effect on some mild skin issues on my legs. All that I can say so far is that it feels nice.

Trying it mostly at night and I seem to sleep better when I do. However, aiming it at my gut area where I have the most problems and my scalp not really feeling much but maybe it’s too soon for deeper problems.
The other thing is the lamp itself will not stay in position, it keeps falling down. THAT is bothersome as then it shifts from the target area and I don’t know it right away and when I do it’s a pain to reposition because it is hot and add to that the danger of it touching something that might get burnt. Bad design IMHO. Won’t purchase this style again or recommend it.

I use it after the shower or after workouts to boost recovery and just feel all around great!

I bought this to try and help my sore and stiff neck and shoulders. The first morning after I tried it I woke up significantly less sore. I love the way the light feels on myself and my skin. The only drawback I have experienced is my 2 year old son trying to stare at the light. But that’s not really a fault of the light at all. The company sent us a QR code for a free pair of glasses to wear with them for eye protection and that will help tremendously as this light makes your eyes feel weird.

I haven’t had it long enough to say how much it helps with pain but it does seem to help. I know my body needs whatever this is doing though because I crave sitting under it. I wish there was a stand that could allow you to hang it over the bed or something but I am a photographer so I am planning on busting out a tripod to try and clip it on.
