    I LOVE THIS WATCH.

    PROS:
    1. The fact that it stretches allows for a few different wrist sizes to fit and be comfortable in.
    2. It lights up when the button is pressed! Definitely handy in dark places, such as – the movies or at night!
    3. Time is absolutely easy to tell and can be easily adjusted.
    4. It is waterproof to a certain extent; therefore, I do not have to worry about breaking it when I wash my hands (I’m quite the germophobe).
    5. It is easy to put on and off – no hassle at all!
    6. Simple and clean design, I use it for everyday use (surprised by how much durability it takes even though I can be quite careless at times).
    7. It comes with a nice stand for everyday admiration (haha).

    CONS:
    1. It does get scratched up pretty easily, so you have to be careful sliding it across a table or any surfaces.
    2. The gold design is just clipped on top; therefore, it can be easily taken off if you are absolutely careless with it – or an unfortunate accident occurs (like mine), one of them were accidentally peeled off, but I was able to clip it back on after awhile – so no worries!

A must buy for those who needs a simple everyday watch!

I go through watch batteries quickly – must be my magnetic personality 🙂 In all seriousness, I do not buy expensive watches anymore since they usually A. Die. B. Break C. Get lost or D. get hidden by a grandchild! Also, as a night owl I like to have my indigo lighted watch! These watches keep time well, too which is kind of nice for a watch! 🙂 I tried the version with the date in it, but since different months have more or less days, I would get the dates behind sometimes. So, this simple, easy to read watch is the one I have now. I also like that it can be worn with gold or silver. The only caution I would give is that my wrists are small – I am small boned – and this watch JUST fits!

Had many Timex watches over the years. However, recently bought one, and within 2 months it started stopping and starting at random. It was too late to return it, so I contacted Customer Service. They finally got back to me after a couple of email requests. Was told that they send out repairs OVERSEAS and that it may take 2-3 MONTHS for my watch to get back. And even though it is under warranty, they’d let me know if there were other charges. The label to send it to them is free at least.
So I’m out of a watch that I only had for 2 months and will have to hope I get it back in 2-3 months?? They should just send me a replacement watch for something that is clearly a lemon. Will not be purchasing from Timex again. Its a shame because it was always a favorite until now.

Este producto lo usé para reemplazar uno igual que tuve hace muchos años pero lo perdí, nunca pensé que lo volvería a encontrar, muchas gracias Amazon.

As a long time Timex watch owner, I love this watch. Sturdy, easy fit (no links or fasteners), attractive, easy to read numbers, and-best of all -a lighted dial. My phone is not always available to check the time, but my wrist is. I’ve worn a Timex for over 60 years. They can handle abuse and do “keep on ticking” just like the old commercials say . Best value there is for the cost.

    Timex watches last long.

For the price, I don’t know if it is worth this price. I am very hard on watches, with manual labor and hospital jobs, constantly washing my hands. So the water resistance is good. I have only had it a few weeks so I cannot attest to the wear and tear on it nor the scratching, but so far, that is ok. No missing links as I had read in other reviews. BUT it is SOOOOOOO loud! If I’m just working on my computer, or making a meal, or reading notes, it is this constant constant ticking ticking ticking!!! I actually have to take it off sometimes because it is so distracting and messes up concentration. A $50 watch should be quiet and seamless. I normally buy $( Walmart watches, who are SILENT. This is not cool. Also, as some reviews say, it can and occasionally will catch on arm hair, and yes, that really hurts. None of my $9 Walmart watches ever did that. Also, it is not too small at all. I have very very tiny wrists, and it is actually still big on my wrist. Not as large as some cheaper watches that have to go mostly up my forearm to actually fit, but I still have to slide this one up far enough for it to be snug.

very nice premium looking watch, my mom loves it. totally recommended!

I love this little Timex watch because it works solidly for 2 years. In addition, the light turns on at the touch of the button so you can see what time it is at night outside or in a darkened room. And the numbers are large enough to be read by older eyes 😉

At about the two-year mark the battery gives out which means you need to take it to a jewelry shop to replace the battery or buy a new watch. Since the approximate $40 cost of the watch spread out over 2 years equals about 6 cents per day, I figure it’s worth it just to buy a new watch every 2 years. So that’s what I do!

The band is too tight. I’ve taken it to a watch repair man and he made it too big, so I have to go back again.
I’ve always had Timex watches and love them. This is the first time the band didn’t fit.

I was looking for a watch that would fit me right out of the box and I wouldn’t have to go to the jeweler to have links taken out. This is it. I love this. its not fancy, but its a good watch for daytime wear. Its easy to read and the watch itself is not big. it fit my arm perfectly. Some watches the watch itself is so big, it over powers your arm. And this is silver and gold, so its a nice combo of the two colors. Would buy again. I’ve had lots of timex watches over the years and they are nice inexpensive watches.
