    Does not cover the fact that most red light from a panel is reflected off your body. Researches vary between 60% to 88%. Additionally much idf the red light from a panel misses your body. Like goes over shoulders, between legs, misses your sides etc. I think one gets maybe 12% to20% of light being emitted from a panel.

    The researchers (MD’s, PhD’s) all use skin contact to stop reflection loss. They also like gentle skin pressure to increase penetration. This brings one to pads. Problem is they are fabric, no cooling fans, get hot and the LED’S they use emit less than 1/10th of the power found in most panel LED’s. So you might need a lot of time to get a good enough dose.

    Red Light Therapy industry is full of people selling high priced panel. Thus you are either missing the body or light is reflecting.

    The answer is a good panel of about !8” by 12”. Put it on your body. The weight supplies skin pressure. If you get a powerful panel you have to make sure it does not heat up too fast. You can deploy a strong fan to help. So you can have treatment times of 1-3 min per body region. Then wait for panel to cool and do in another body area or target a specific joint or muscle. Yes you can do deep penetrating targeted treatments with same panel. I suggest do a brief treatment and while you wait for device to cool see if you begin to get that sense of well being, feeling good. If you get it stop. If not dip another body area, then another until you get it. It may take couple of minutes after treat,ent to feel it. Once you get this feeling stop. You can experiment with repeat treatments but suggest wait at least 4 hours. Sometimes you can go a whole day without treatment an=nd still hav4 that feeling of well being. So you want a lot if high quality LED chip for a lot of intensity. Panel should have 2 or more fans. You want skin contact but take a pause as soon as it gets more than just warming. And you want skin pressure.

    I am sold on Redlight Therapy! This book is a must before using your device. The little pamphlet that comes with it doesn’t tell you nearly enough about exactly how to use it to it’s best advantage.
